Pea Shellers

Pea and bean shelling time is here across many parts of the country. Several electric Pea Sheller Sr's are shipping out daily. Don't wait until the last minute to get your pea sheller. It's that time of year again. Lee Manufacturing Company has lots of pea shellers to in the warehouse ready to get to work this summer. The picture below shows all of the 800-M3 electric (Pea Sheller Sr.) pea shellers on the far left. The 600-R (Pea Sheller Jr) hand-crank pea shellers are in the second aisle from the left.

Magic Fingers Bean and Pea Sheller

A few decades back there was an item on the market called the Magic Fingers.  It was very much like our Pea Sheller Jr. (Mr. Pea Sheller) and our electric Pea Sheller Sr. in that it had 2 rotating rollers that shelled the beans.  We found one on Ebay recently (see our pics below). We will give it a try on some peas and beans in a few weeks.  That will make for another post here.

You link this gadget up with a hand mixer (or drill I suppose) and you are ready to shell peas.
